- A small section of the building which was once the Durham Hoisiery Mill Number 2, in the 400 block of East Pettigrew Street. Along with the Carolina Times, which was located in the same block, these were some of the last remaining businesses of the once thriving Hayti neighborhood. Turner's Beauty and Barber Supply, Elvira's Blue Dine-Et, and UOCI (United Organizations For Community Improvement).
