African American Quilt Circle Commemorates its Fifteenth Anniversary Making History у Making Quilts With a Special Quilt Exhibition Our History in Stitches February 26 - March 10, 2013 Carrack Modern Art Gallery 111 West Parrish Street, Durham, NC March 10, 2013 marks the fifteenth anniversary of the award winning African American Quilt Circle (AAQC) of Durham North Carolina. AAQC kicks off its fifteenth anniversary festivities with a quilt exhibit, Our History in Stitches, February 26 - March 10, 2013. The exhibit is a showcase of artwork that is inspired by the quilters’ interpretation of people, places and events that shaped AAQC’s rich history as a premier arts group in Durham.
