Bus Brown Collection
Bus Brown (1907-2007) was a jazz musician who was known partly for his work on Brother Yusuf Salim’s television show, “Yusuf and Friends.” Brown lived in Durham from the 1980s to 1990s, and performed throughout the Triangle with Salim and jazz vocalist Frankie Alexander. This digital collection includes photographs of some of these performances, as well as photographs of their families and friends.
