Colclough, Bragg, and Carpenter Families Papers
The Colclough, Bragg, and Carpenter families were Durham families involved in farming and commerce in the 19th and 20th centuries. The families are connected by the 1847 marriage of Nancy Colclough and Thomas Bragg, and, subsequently, the marriage of Minnie Bragg (one of Thomas and Nancy's five children) and Duane Carpenter. This digital collection consists of a composite photograph of the Durham High School Class of 1907. On the far right of the composite photograph is probably Mary Jessie Rigsbee, who married Willis Thomas Carpenter (one of the sons of Minnie and Duane Carpenter) in 1915.
