Durham Civil Rights Heritage Project Collection
This digital collection contains approximately 125 photographs depicting scenes of civil rights activity in Durham, primarily donated by Durham resident and Duke University graduate Bill Boyarsky and by Harold Moore, Herald-Sun newspaper photographer. It also includes 22 oral history interviews with participants in Durham's Civil Rights Movement. Interviewees discuss life under segregation, their involvement with the movement, and the movement itself.
