Durham Sit-Ins Flyer
This collection includes a flyer calling for boycotts of Woolworths, Kress, and Walgreens stores in downtown Durham from 1960. These stores would not allow African American customers to use their lunch counters. Also included is a two-page print out of "The Kresses Sit-ins" memoir from Bill Sharpe, and one page print out of text from possible Duke alumni publication article "1960 M.L. King Jr. Visit Inspires Divinity Support for Sit-Ins" by Bill Sharpe.
