Hope Valley Incorporated Glass Plate Negatives

This digital collection contains digitized images of 45 glass plate negatives taken around 1927 (the plates were digitized in 2021). The negatives include images of the Hope Valley Country Club’s interior and exterior, several early Hope Valley homes, people playing golf, and people riding horses around the Hope Valley area. Several of the images were published in the 1929 book, Golf and Country Clubs by Clifford Charles Wendehack. The negatives have numbers written on the physical plate.
